3rd Annual Motherhood Portrait Sessions

Our 3rd annual motherhood portrait sessions were nothing short of amazing. Every year, I look forward to these sessions because they’re different from my typical studio work, but they’re an opportunity to be creative in a different way. I love incorporating the florals because thesomething special about flowers and mothers, and there is no denying they are both unique and beautiful. These sessions are also special to me because, as a mother and a daughter, I know the importance of celebrating the women In our lives that make us who we are. These portraits are the perfect opportunity to honor the selflessness, dedication, and unwavering love that mothers give.

There were many laughs, cuddles, and even a few tears throughout the sessions. It's always a humbling experience to see the love and connection between mothers and their children at any age. The generational portraits always tug at my heart because it is remarkable to capture the essence of a family's history and to be able to preserve memories for future generations. Seeing the abuelitas hold their great-grandchildren gave me all the feels. I also had a few clients that have participated in these sessions since the first year, and it is so sweet seeing your little ones grow. It also is a reminder of the importance of cherishing the time we have with our littles because they grow so fast.

As the sessions ended, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for next year. Being able to capture these moments for families is a true honor, and I can't wait to do it all again. Thank you to all the families who came out and shared their love with us. It was truly a pleasure to work with every one of you. These sessions are celebration of motherhood and family, and we are grateful to share this experience with all of you.

A special thank you to the group that helped make this possible; Hanna, owner of BellaFleur, for always being incredibly creative and kind. Jinely (JinelyReyesPhoto) for being a fantastic day-one assistant, and my husband/partner Roberto(RobertoChavezPhotography) for helping me with literally everything, I love you.
