The Garcia Family-Newborn Studio Session

As a photographer, few things are more memorable than capturing the first portraits of a family's new life together. I was excited to have Kayli, Tony, and their new baby boy, Tj, in the studio for their newborn session. Having previously photographed Kayli's maternity portraits, it was heartwarming to see them now as a family of three.

From the moment they walked into the studio, I could feel the excitement they were experiencing as new parents by the way they shared every detail of Tjs arrival and how he had been doing his first few weeks of life. We started the session with the family portion. I like starting here because everyone is ready, and once we are done, parents can relax and enjoy the newborn part of the session. You can see the joy on their faces as a family of three.

One of the things that made this session stand out was the choice of minimal and neutral tones—Kayli's selection of colors and textures made for timeless portraits that the family will cherish forever. The simplicity of the images allowed the focus to be on the family and the love for their sweet baby. I also loved that they incorporated a tiny crocheted cow hat for tj since he comes from a dairy family. (Scroll below to see)
